Tara's Peach Pie

About the Recipe

The best peach pie and you can also make it into a cherry pie!

Ingredients

  • 2 unbaked pie crusts

  • 1 large can of peaches

  • 1/3 cup of syrup (syrup from a can of peaches, or if using fresh peaches, then kae syrup with sugar and water)

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 2 TBS flour

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • dash of salt

  • 2 TBS butter

  • 1 TBS lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1:

In saucepan, cook syrup, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt until thick; add peaches.


Step 2:

Place in pie pan lined with crust; dot with butter and lemon juice. Place other crust on top making slits. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
