Ingredients

  • 1 egg

  • 1 1/3 cups milk or 1 3/4 cups buttermilk

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 2 cups White Self-Rising Cornmeal Mix

  • 1/2 cup sugar

Preparation

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 450. Grease skillet or pan; place in oven to heat.


Step 2:

Beat egg in mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients; blend well.


Step 3:

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
