Lori's Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup margarine

  • 2 eggs

  • 3 mashed bananas

  • 3 TBS strong coffee (can use a single instant coffee packet)

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips (and/or raisins and nuts)

Preparation

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 320. Butter and flour (or use Pam) 3 small loaf pans. You can use 3TBS of brewed coffee (preferred) or mix a single serve instant coffee packet with 3TBS of water.


Step 2:

Mix together: sugar, margarine, eggs, bananas and coffee.


Step 3:

Gradually add flour, baking soda and salt. Add chocolate chips. Pour into 3 small buttered and floured loaf pans. Bake for 50-60 minutes.
