Fresh Guacamole

About the Recipe

Kristen Eargle's favorite appetizer!


  • 6 Avocados

  • 6 tsp lime juice (or one small fresh lime)

  • 6 TBS chopped cilantro

  • 1/2-3/4 cup of finely chopped red onion

  • 1 1/2 jalapeños finely chopped

  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt


Step 1:

Remove peeling and seeds from avocados. Place in bowl. Squeeze lime and sprinkle juice on top. Toss and coat avocados.

Step 2:

Sprinkle salt and slightly mash avocados. (I like it to be a little chunky).

Step 3:

Chop cilantro, red onion and jalapeños. Mix in remaining ingredients. If you want to make sure it's not too spicy, you can remove the seeds of the jalapeños. Taste and add more salt or lime juice if needed. Serve with tortilla chips!
