Ingredients
About 38 double stuffed Oreos (crushed)
18 cups of mini marshmallows (2 cups to mix in and 16 to melt)
10 cups of rice krispies
1 and 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
12 tablespoons of unsalted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract/seeds from one vanilla bean
Preparation
Step 1: Mix crushed Oreos, 2 cups of marshmallows, and Rice Krispies cereal together in a large bowl.
Step 2: Melt 12 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a non-stick pot on low heat. Stirring periodically. Allow butter to slightly brown. Turn off heat.
Step 3: Add salt and vanilla to pot with butter. Stir in 16 cups of mini marshmallows until melted. *Tip: spray cooking spray onto your mixing spoon to keep marshmallows from sticking to it.
Step 4: Pour melted mixture into dry ingredients bowl. Fold in with spatula gently.
Step 5: Press mixture into 21 x13 pan to cool for about 30min.
Step 6: Cut and serve! Add melted coating candies and sprinkles to give these treats a little team spirit. It makes a heaping amount (enough for 12 linebackers😉), half everything for a more practical portion
